Today I’m shining the spotlight on two prominent Chicago organizations.
Today I’ll shine the spotlight on two places here in Chicago that really embody the spirit of the city.
First, I’m joined by Kim Alden, the No. 1 real estate agent with Baird & Warner, the oldest real estate company in Chicago. Baird & Warner is a 165-year-old, family-owned real estate company that has always given back to the city. Back during the Great Fire of 1871, the company was instrumental in rebuilding the infrastructure and helped the city to come back to what we are today. One of the best healthcare providers is less than a mile away, and Kim really enjoys being able to help the physicians find their dream homes.
Now, let’s head over to GhFitlab to meet its founder, Greg Hahaj. The GhFitlab is a place that is near and dear to my heart because it changed my life. One of the first notable things I learned about the place when I came to do some post-surgery exercises with Greg was that it wasn’t exercise at all—it was a kind of muscle therapy that helps rehabilitate, rejuvenate, and repair the muscle tissue in a way where the patient really understands how the process benefits them. The Reverend Jesse Jackson is just one powerful success story. He even signed a picture for Greg, which reads, “To Greg: With strong muscles, you can walk many miles for freedom.”
